Attestation of Documents : All documents emanating from India for production in other countries are required to be authenticated by Consular Section of Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi in the first instance and then the documents will be further authenticated by the Embassy of the country concerned before producing the same for attestation by this Embassy. Documents executed in countries under this Embassy's jurisdiction before the notaries and authenticated by the Venezuelan Ministry of External Relations for Venezuelan citizens or residents can be attested by this Embassy. For citizens or residents of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba , the authentication of the relevant Island Government would be required. Passport, copy of stay permit/identity card is to be enclosed with application letter addressed to this Embassy requesting the service. Fees: 1) Fee: US $ 20 / Bs.F 100.00 per attestation of civil documents (eg. Degree/Marriage certificates, Affidavits, Sponsorship certificates, Power of Attorney, Driving Licence etc.) 2) For applicable fee in case of Attestacion Commercial Bs.F 75. 3) Attestation of Comercial Documents perttaining to exports from a foreign country to India Bs.F 190.
